Last Night You Saw This Band and you came running home to me it changed the way you thought, you said it changed the way you think you danced around the room, pulled me up onto the couch my pile of drinks fell over, all the goodness running out Last night you saw this band and you came running home to me it had all the bells and whistles it taught you how to be free you said that nothing matters, there’s only grace and disgrace you kindly didn’t notice as the tears ran down my face I can be sorry as well
2.
Book of the Dead I wake up in the night the moon is full the fear is bright these little creatures got a fright I don’t know what it is I should do I said I don’t know what it is I should do Open the book of the dead I write my name Give me your pen I said hold your breath now and count to ten I said I don’t think I can do this again I said I don’t think I can do this again I said I don’t think I can do this again I said hold your breath now and count to ten I said I don’t think I can do this again I don’t think I can do this again I said hold your breath and count to ten I don’t think I can do this again Hold your breath now

Islands 04:14
Islands We gotta go, we gotta get off this island follow Kupe on water sparkling like diamonds we gotta go, we gotta get off this island follow Kupe on water sparkling like diamonds. Turangi Valley she was counting her chickens I didn’t steal it but he said a pig’s missing. The vaka’s ready we migrate in the morning the crops are picked and now the weather is warming. Come on we’ve got to go. There’s diamonds don’t you know We throw them on the water There’s diamonds don’t you know We throw them on the water
4.
What We Know 04:26
Bodies washed up on the broken shore I’m knowing things I never knew before I hear the hiss, and I hear the roar This is what we know Ohway, this is what we know Daily use of archimedes’ screw Don’t forgive them they know what they do They say they do it all for me and you This is what we know Oily bodies washed up on the shore I’m seeing things I never saw before I hear the hiss, I hear the roar This is what we know Ohway, this is what we know Tunnelling under the mountains back, Haul up the bones for us thick and black Ohway, this is what we know
5.
I take the pride, I take the fall In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams It doesn’t matter anymore In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams I read the writing on the wall In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams I took my pen and added more In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams I love and hate and want you all In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams I don’t know what you’re fighting for In the good ol’ days of the bad old dreams I’ll give a hundred dollars to The one who smiles and says it’s true Who would have thought it’d be us two Who ended up scraping through The wreckage that we knew A rosy coloured hue Who would have thought it’d be us two Throw your arms It doesn’t matter anymore What are you fighting for Does it matter anymore
6.
The sun’s setting low and I’m diving into it I lost my soul but I found my spirit And I don’t care what ya done done And I can see where ya run run And I can’t hear those drums no more, no more And I can’t hear those drums no more (x 2) Oh lala, I didn’t say anything Oh lala, I didn’t do anything And I don’t care what ya done done, what you say, or where you come from I can’t hear them, no I can’t hear those drums no more.

Ghost 03:45
Step into my parlour and tell me your dreams Let them be spectacular shiny bright things That will glow in the dark and will light my way clean For the love of the one, for the love of the boy Take two in the morning and I’ll bury my pride I’ll sit in the corner there’s no charge for my time And bring out your dead and the darkness you hide for the love of the one for sheer love of the boy Step into my parlour I’ll tell you no lies Forget incognito, discard all disguise When you wake in the morning you see in my eyes For the love of the one, for sheer love of the boy You say stars align, ha! can’t you see these stars are blind Remember moments we thought we were humankind Read from the script all your memorised lines For the love of the one, for sheer love of the boy I’m your ghost, oh I am your ghost I tell you no lies, discard all disguise I see in your eyes, I am your ghost
8.
The world, is now ruled by men, in leather shoes, who’s hearts need a good breaking souls a-penetrating liars on the manly mission of global submission should they be resisted, I said yes But you are my darkest secret yet, I said yes But you are my darkest secret yet
9.
Heaven 01:25
Baby I can never tell, if this is heaven or hell, anymore And the only thing I hear baby, I’ve come to fear baby Loud and clear, baby loud and clear
10.
Warheads 04:03
How shall we settle this, let’s settle this with bombs. I think of you my darling, when the warheads start to fall
11.
There were sisters on the balcony who called: “hey soldier” There were brothers on the battlefield who wouldn’t get older There were people locked in carriages yelling: “is this over?” Talk me through it is this how it’s meant to be?
12.
Breeze rustles coconut trees my dear white sandy beaches run to oceans clear my dear, sit down beside me here, my dear sit down for a moment here

about

Having toured their synths and samplers from Hanoi to Helsinki on the live circuit for over a decade, this trio have crafted their own refreshing sound - and it's not what you'd expect from an electronic act.

This album is more stripped-back than we're used to from Minuit, allowing the crisp, percussive songs to shine through.

Following the example of onepercentcollective.org, one-percent of album sales goes to the Kenbe La Foundation in Haiti. Kenbe La (the Haitian phrase for 'Never Give Up') helps disadvantaged children get the education and support they need to have a life kenbelafoundation.org

Merci beaucoup, Fa'afetai lava, Thankyou - Minuit
